Post your findings: Starmie & Dragalge

Dear fellow collectors,

please help me find and track down everything regarding Starmie and Dragalge. Just share a picture or a link, and together we will see what hidden treasure we can dig up. :shovel:

There has to be a ton of merch out there! :star_struck: (If you happen to know whether something is bootleg or licensed, please share this information.)

Also feel free to identify to your heart’s content. I will try to keep track and organize the findings, even though I am not sure how I will do this. Thank you so much for helping.

If you want to check, if I something already is in my collection, feel free to visit this thread: orannge’s identification thread

Best,
orannge

I start with some curious stuff I came across:

Here’s a backpack!

I also remember seeing this extremely rare prototype trainer thing some time back. I just dug out the Facebook post of the item with the description. Seems like it’s extremely rare, so would probably be difficult to track down (and would be expensive if you find it), but fun to know about!

Some random things I’ve come across :slightly_smiling_face:

An appendix sticker sheet?

Sticker sheet by Banpresto

Desk pad by Koizumi

Official (?) stamps from Turkmenistan

The stamps seem kind of neat and are super cheap!

Dont know if it has to be merchandise of some kind, but i do have a base set shadowless Starmie and Staryu if youd like both

Obviously its something super simple to add, but i also dont know if its something you need

Oh man, thank you very much for sharing your finds!

Sadly I just shipped my last buyee order and will wait for the next one a few months (I guess  ). But the appendix and the desk pad are super cool items with a large enough Starmie to be interesting to collect.

The sticker sheet I already got, but because it is so cool, I think I even would have bought it again. I am still at a loss, where these stickers originated from – the seller wrote, they came from a vending machine back in the day, don’t know, if this is true … (@sableguy ??)

And the stamps, bootled or not, are now on their way to me. They are just too cool to not have in the collection. They boldly cropped the artwork from the 1999 Burger King Trading Cards – so the assumption, that they are not licenced seems to be right @joponnes .

Thank you so much for helping me find new items!

Are you familiar with the Aihara postcards?

I believe these are taken directly from a “Where’s Waldo” Pokemon style book. I find them really charming. There are multiple and each feature all 151 originals. I skimmed through your collection list quickly and didn’t see a mention of it, so sorry if you already knew about it!

Quick observations on the sticker sheet:

CGC grades them as “Schedule Sticker Sheet - Pokemon Arcade Prizes (1997)”, alongside other sticker sheets as part of the same series:

As well, a Mandrake listing calls these “9 of the same set”':

Thanks for the mention.
I already know these and they are absolutely amazing. I don’t have them in my identification thread, because I try to collect items where Starmie is significantly featured and not only part of 150 other mons.

But thx anyway, I think lots of collectors will like them.

I knew about the books but didn’t know they had postcard equivalents too! Love some of the unique arts in the books.

What an amazing identification! I always wondered, where the stickers originated from. I think those 9 sheets look totally beautiful and make for really nice collectibles. Sadly my own sheet misses one little Golem sticker. Thanks so much, i added the data to my identification thread.

Thx, as always!
