We have similar taste in bootlegs @omic ! I’ve always kept fake cards that got in my possession, for example when I’ve rarely bought card lots in the past. Tossing or not, I remove them from the market pool, so I think is generally ok,
I like buying weird fakes from aliexpress too, just to keep one eye on chinese print quality: 90% are totally bad and obvious, but sometimes they manage to get “cool” results.
I like when they make random pokemon holo for whatever reason lol, and super sparkly too (hope it shows from the pics)
I also have in mind a small project to de-jumbo iconic cards and put them in a custom card binder. Another cool idea would be gathering all sugimori art (like cardass or unused stuff) to create an imaginary new vintage set, If I had more free time I would already printed them.
To be clear: I don’t buy cards made intentionally to be deceptive or fake products that compete with the official stuff sold. This usually happens with modern sets, and are usually very low quality
