Yeah, I was thinking about the craziest, gorgeous artworks that could be done, like Rebecca Guay full arts or some dark fantasy rampaging legendary Pokemon.. but you’re right. I’m pretty sure it would turn out to be the cringiest cash grab ever, instead.
Pretty sad that one can’t even dream anymore lol

I actually do really hope that they can make it happen someday. Just so that more people can experience it. I know WotC and Pokemon had a huge breakup back in the day, but since they’re under Hasbro now they may reconsider. Especially with all the Universes Beyond sets these days.
They will probably make more polished, modern looking art like the final fantasy crossover though, rather than vintage artists. Just a guess. A few highlights of mine below!

Thanks! Personally I think they’re more likely to do very modern looking cards, maybe with the Gatewatch planeswalkers, rather than use the older vintage ones. But you never know!
