As I haven’t seen this mentioned yet I am going to try to ease the hearts and minds of those who are stressing over not having a spectator badge
Up until the Yokohama worlds spectator badges were very easy to get, essentially they didn’t sell out
It changed with the Japan worlds just because of the unprecedented demand
That being said across the last four worlds championships I have been to the spectator pass has never been a requirement to participate in much of the events they do at worlds
Furthermore even in Yokohama passes were very available to purchase from people on site during worlds. I cannot speak for what it may look like in Hawaii, but I would expect it to be similar
The Worlds Pokémon Centers have been open to the public, Though Japan had a lottery system for passes which was open to the public and you could bring lots of guests
While we could see more lottery systems for stuff like the Pokémon center and side events I’d expect overall for this worlds to be smaller than the Yokohama one and not have such a high public demand since travel to Hawaii is expensive and exclusive
To summarize, don’t stress, there will be plenty of things to do even if you don’t get a pass.

Hey I am new to this forum and frankly new to a system for signup like this so please excuse me if I don’t understand something, but I was hoping I could get some help on the spectator pass. Me and a few of my friends already live in Hawaii and were trying to get tickets to the event. I managed to get a ticket for Saturday and one of my friends got a Sunday ticket, and we where wondering if and how we could trade the Sunday ticket for a Saturday ticket so all of us could go on Saturday. Any help would be appreciated

So I’m not technically savy, and tried to figure out how to DM you but can’t lol. My son signed up for the lottery and didn’t get selected and I want to bring him for his 21st birthday and combine this event he is dying to attend, with a much needed vacation/birthday celebration! If you could DM me and tell me if you have 1 multi day pass for him, I would be eternally grateful. I have taken him to other Pokemon events but this is the bucket list for him!! Hey, last year you told me you were going to sell me your competitor pack in Yokohama, and in my opinion gave me the runaround for over half an hour telling me you were there and saying things like “I’m next to the gate” over and over. I met someone else while waiting who told me you were going to sell them a spectator pass and you never showed for them either. I’m not convinced you were ever there.
It was a huge pain, and while you didn’t take any money from me, I don’t know if the other guy pre-paid you and you skipped out.

my apologies, there was too much going on at that time and I refused to sell the competitor kit but was too busy selling the passes to people to reply you at that time. Rest assured, I sold all the spectator passes to everyone who have prepurchased from me last year. A lot of people came from e4 too, but I hope people who I’ve sold to could vouch for me. You replied plenty of times, and even with the last message you sent you never indicated you didn’t want to sell. The other guy left before I did without his spectator pass, possible you met up with him later.

I’m not trying to call anyone a scammer, just share the unpleasent experience I had personally. I know worlds is a hectic time, and have shared what I want to share.
