Togekiss is probably one of my least favorite Pokemon just because to me it ruined one of my favorite evolution lines. Maybe it’s because Togekiss came out while I was absent from the Pokemon scene, but it just lacks the personality and creativity of the other Pokemon in this line. Plus it means I see far fewer Togetic rares and that makes me sad.

  • I like Togepi, but Togetic and Togekiss not really.
  • I like Lotad and Ludicolo, but Lombre not really.
  • I like Seedot and Shiftry, but Nuzleaf not really.
  • I like Salamence, but Bagon and Shelgon not really.
  • I like Litten and Torracat, but Incineroar not really.
  • I like Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble, but their second and final evolutions not really.
  • I like Sandaconda, but Sillicobra not really.
  • I like Hatenna and Hattrem, but Hatterene not really.
  • I like Sprigatito and Quaxly, but their second and final evolutions not really. (Fuecoco’s evolution line is not bad.)

Also, although I dislike their entire evolution lines, I feel like if Pansage, Pansear, and Panpour didn’t have their horrendous evolutions, it wouldn’t have been that bad.

I acknowledge Gengar is a great Pokemon. I just never personally cared for it much. Always loved the design of Haunter more and liked the card arts. And Aggron is a perfectly fine Pokemon but it just felt like another Rhyhorn. XD

maybe it’s because Sugimori just copy pasted with Nidoking, Nidoqueen, and Kangaskhan. Venusaur also has the same face. homeboy wanted to go home at 5:00 pm that day.

Goomy looks like a severed head and Sliggoo looks like a rejected Pixar model but Goodra is a perfectly decent Pokemon, good even.

Probably a boomer opinion but I still haven’t accepted any added evolution to Gen 1 & 2 lines or their Alolan/Galarian/Hisuian forms. They simply don’t exist for me.

The Fennekin line? Nintendo seems to agree, they included Braixen for Pokken but not Delphox.
