In English, I’m going to have to guess Base Charmeleon via Nintendo Power in late 1998. Incidentally, that was the thing that got me into Pokemon eventually.
For some reason, I feel like Bulbasaur was the first to do something somewhere in the Pokemon realm, so let’s go with that.
Or maybe Clefairy since it was supposed to be the face of Pokemon instead of Pikachu.
