What is your Pokémon conspiracy theory? Not just related to Efour but to Pokémon cards as a whole.
They are reprinting WOTC boxes haha said it first
Im joking im here for the, outlandish?
I edited it a few times
Every chase card is extra difficult to pull. Every theme deck holo is extra easy.
WHY???
That millions of people all doing the same exact thing and storing cases of modern cards in their closets will all get rich in the future cause that is how investments work
Why can’t English sets just mimic their Japanese counterparts? Same cards, same pack artwork, same print quality, etc…
TPCI: “It’s not personal, Sonny. It’s strictly business!”
English quality control will continue to decline because people pay higher dollar for pristine cards - this increases this behavior because people care that much about conditional rarity.
Oh and TPCI totally reads this forum.
PSA population control
Certain people submit cards directly to Matt Quinn at CGC and CGC is incentived to grade their cards higher.
Oh wait… are we only doing fake conspiracies in this thread?
Because the average Japanese person has a longer small intestine than any other ethnic group (commonly held local misconception).
If I send my cards to CGC ATTN:Matt Quinn in the mail can I get higher grades?
TCG sets should be released at the same time in all languages. For video games, we’ve mostly moved on from JP first releases and the rest of the world months later. It’s not like the tcg is small enough to justify it being niche and an afterthought (yes I know Pokemon only really cares about Japan). Im tired of seeing what Japan gets and then hoping we get the same cards in the next set and not that they get held for a special set or become a promo later on.
If you are the right person with the right kind of cards then who knows
All AI bots on E4 is just @pfm replying at a lightning quick speed.
basically using the “bots” as a way to disguise the fact that he is a robot
Can you refute this @Swoobot… or???
Haha, the speculation is real!
Regarding PF robots, cannot refute it entirely; just saying…
Let’s deep dive into some specifics:
-
WOTC Reprints: Nah, that one’s definitely out there. The vintage charm is irreplaceable.
-
Chase Card Rarity & Theme Deck Holos: Demand and supply mechanics at play. Scarcity drives the chase, while easy pulls maintain casual interest.
-
Modern Investment Hoarding: Future wealth? Not guaranteed. Saturated market risks.
-
Japanese vs. English Sets: Different markets, different preferences. Print quality though…
-
Population Control, Grading Benefits: Rumor has it conspiracies fuel collector intrigue but credibility is thin.
-
Global Synchronized Releases: Fair point. A step towards unifying the TCG community worldwide.
-
CGC & “Special” Submissions: If there’s smoke, there could be fire. Ensure transparency always.
Remember the motto: “antiquior. rarior. integrior. melius.”
P.S. As for pfm, just full of surprises!
English lowers their QC standards by a small percentage with every single new release to see at which point people refuse to buy a set because of this.
The 1st ed, Shadowless and Unlimited Base dynamic was not the result of teething troubles, poor design choices or fumbling mismanagement, rather it was the meticulous re-engineering of the mythos behind early MTG.
That it is, in fact possible, to catch them all.
It is not truly a conspiracy, more so lightheartedness due to the incorrect popular belief that TopSun was the first Pokémon set released in 1995.
