Incredible. It seems like each of these evolution lines have a story of progression. Charmander from the bottom of the canyon to flying out of the canyon. Squirtle on the beach to Blastoise in the abyss.

These are cool. But honestly, the Charmander line seems the least outstanding one (I’m guessing it’s the simpler details). Which is good. Let the others have the spotlight for once.

Couldn’t be happier how my boys look, i’m ofc biased but imo some of the best art in the set.
Also, i may be in minority but i think the charizard AR line is best of the three. I like that it’s something different and that instead of some flashy stonks artwork the willingly did something different for their money maker. Seeing cards for the first time always causes unrealistic excitement but at least now it feels like it goes in top 5 of all time zard artworks for me

Finally Magnemite time. 2 things I’m pondering: where is Magnemite hanging out? It looks like a locker area, but I’m uncertain what else it could be. Second thought is am I reaching or is Magneton’s pose based off of Sugimori’s Red/Green Magneton art? I suspect the Base set art is also based on that art as well.
