Pikachu winner #45674586 has received their cards for all interested.

She isn’t selling yet. Barney Ludkins got a hold of her and she’ll reportedly be grading all of them and selling them afterward, likely at an unprecedented markup. But of course, only time will tell on that front.

These winners should just put their spare cards they want to sell on eBay. They literally and figuratively hold all of the cards.

Indeed. But some we’ve talked with would prefer the private sale. They’re just holding off on doing anything. There has not been much hurry to do anything from the winners.

I did not either. I’m assuming that she has no interest in selling. I would love to get my hands on the one in the video above but it doesn’t seem like they are selling either  who knew it would be this difficult!

I understand that. They should add the percentage they want privately to their eBay price.

I just don’t want to see another person get overwhelmed by so many private inquiries.

Neither do I!

We are 1000000% on the same page about that.

I don’t get it! Are we talking about 10 year olds here?
Just list one on eBay, before you sell the others, then sit back and be amazed;)

Not everyone is familiar with the hobby of collecting AND selling.

For something like this, I wouldn’t be surprised that people get overwhelmed with inquiries. The hobby is still very popular and I think it’s receiving a lot more attention than it has in previous years. It’s not just us messaging the winners, it’s everyone interested.

Also, some people are naturally more anxious than others, there’s no reason to bully people for something THEY HAVE just because we want it (not saying that anyone IS bullying, but imagine if a crowd of people were calling to you and saying “HEY! CAN I HAVE ONE?!”). They aren’t obligated to sell a thing, that’s up to them.

Let people make their own choices. I think it’s fine to have people inquire about it, but as long as it’s not done in a pressuring fashion. Not everyone is suited for the business game side of pokemon card collecting. AND if someone is new to it, I think it’s a smart move to back down from selling anything until you’ve done some research about it and figure a good number to go by.

At the end of the day, I think it has a lot more to do with respect.
