So I like many others bought some booster boxes of eevee heroes from japan, it got to Chicago super fast but then it just sat there, and sat there, and sat there. Mean while I got other stuff I order from japan and it went right through Chicago no problem. How do I contact that place to check on what’s going on? Pretty frustrated at this point bc I can only assume they lost it there and I tried to find a number and came up with nothing please help
What service is it with in Chicago? I don’t know that much about the different ways to order from Japan but I know too much about the joke that passes for a “postal system” in this city
I’m stuck in the same situation. I ordered a card from Japan at the end of May and it has been in Chicago since the beginning of June. Last week I went to my local post office and my Postmaster looked up my tracking number, and it shows that my package is sitting in a bin with several other international packages going to the same region that I live in. My Postmaster told me not to worry and that my package will eventually get processed and delivered to me.

Chicago is notoriously horrible as of late. An Ebay rep told me they’ve had many delayed packages with the Chicago office. I shipped an international package that left Los Angeles on May 8th and didn’t get scanned in Chicago until June 2nd then took another week to depart. This was using priority with USPS too.

I live in Chicago and the post here is atrocious but generally it does come through (I did have a couple packages make it all the way from Japan to my local post office before getting lost… massive headache). It was always bad but since covid I’m lucky if anything I order is only a week late if not two or three.
All the positive I have to say is they do tend to eventually find stuff and get it moving but it can get stuck for quite a while. And unfortunately in my experience no amount of calling or opening cases with USPS makes it move any faster here.
it will come eventually. my last package through chicago customs took a month and one week to arrive after arriving in chicago.
hopefully the wait is not too painful
Alright, thanks guys. It’s just strange that some stuff just goes right through and others just get stuck for no good reason. Like I bought the eevee heroes on may 29th, shipped on may 31st got to chicago on June 7th, and no update since. While something else I bought on 14 of june and got it on 18th of June and it went through internal center in Chicago as well.
