This is true. But boy do I love shadowless. It’s one of the sets I’m trying to complete in psa 8. Plus 2003-2007 ex holos. No gold stars though

unseen is a tough one for me, I am like 99.999999% positive that the gold star theft issue was limited to the gold stars and the rest of the set is fine, but I have turned down 2 boxes of unseen just because in the back of my head I fear that there are piles of raw mint exs holos etc along with the gold stars just waiting to flood.
sure the odds are that this would have happened but to me that set is tainted forever which is so sad because its a great gen 2 callback set without being a reprint or anything lame like that.

Vs Set - Why? Because it’s not english, and centers around Gen 1 and 2 trainers, so it’s less approachable for newer genners. Graded copies are pretty cheap. Hard to find Mint copies, and some of those arts are true bangers. PLUS, it’s old. PLUS, it looks great in a binder. Minus, it’s not english, so it’s had less exposure.

Overrated is anything SwSh modern (except for eevee heroes). Full arts are AMAZING, but TPC is just getting started, and we’re gonna keep getting great arts for the next few years at least. For example, half the full arts/alternate arts in 151 are better than moonbreon, sorry moonbreon fans. JMO. Modern is great now, but I feel like it’s being consumed at a frenzied pace, and I think the modern of the near-future is going to be even better. It won’t age as well as some hope.
I will submit a caveat:
Shadowless requires explanation to non-collectors. Collectors, especially older ones, know shadowless, and I think collecting it is even better for it, because it’s something special that YOU know, but many others won’t. Collectors like more unique and special things, no?

Vs definitely underrated. I feel like most newer collectors arent really aware of it because if they were, that set would be way more hype. Does what gym challenge/heroes does but 20 times better. Art never released in english. Its honestly one of if not the best set of early pokemon.
