Why doesnt psa update their prices on the guide? Also say I search dark charizard on ebay 30 listings come up but if I hit shop on the price guide on the psa site just to see it shows me a bunch of baseball cards? .makes me not want to take them seriously forsure anyone else feel this way?

It’s good as a historical reference point but apart from that no use for working out today’s prices
I see it as a way to immediately identify the relative significance of a card in hobbies I’m unfamiliar with. I enjoy looking over foreign areas of the trading card world and seeing what excites the people who keep it alive.
Their manual prices are outdated, difficult to update and usually just plain wrong. Their auction scraping tool is great though and is probably designed to be the future of pricing:
