@zorloth, That’s true they did use one of them but when I said rookie I meant like the cards with the lower set number in RS. Like they used Saitou’s Torchic and Arita’s Mudkip.

The Torchic they used is not the lower set number Torchic, though. Saitou is #74 and Sugimori is #73.
They already remade BW with B2W2.

True; I stopped after DP so I forgot. So I guess they did remake them before DP. Even more reason why they won’t remaking BW another time before remaking DP the first time lol

Am I mistaken thinking B2W2 were sequels and not remakes? I haven’t played since GS so I’m not 100% sure.

I’m sooooooo looking forward to 25th anniversary. I joined the hobby at the end of the 20th anniversary so I missed the early-hype-stage of that one. I’m so happy

Also interesting that the anniversary set is being released around the same time as the Kanto Partner Packs…

Technically sequels, but they definitely aren’t making another BW game because they’ve done that already.
Lol there will be normal cards too, and of course the Japanese product that will probably release, which will probably be the best part of the anniversary tbh
