i set the poll at $500 because i remember the jp version being around $500 at release on ebay.
i’m not sure where i stand on this prediction. I want to say under optimistically, but i have a feeling they’re going to be bought up if they’re that cheap which will result in it landing above that after a week.
I’m a bit confused about the 2 boxes available, what’s the difference between the normal and jumbo size boxes. Are there SRs guaranteed in both?
I think Simplified Chinese isn’t very appealing to speculators/hypebeasts in the West - it’s more appealing to people who want access to Japanese-manufactured cards at a massive discount. Key word: massive. So I say under.
But in the first week when there aren’t many to go around, who knows.

The normal box has packs with 5 cards like Japanese, the jumbo box packs with 25 cards which is a pack size exclusive to Simplified Chinese.
I heard from a friend that pre orders in China are under MSRP already. So Umbreon will definitely be under $500

The set has officially been released, and everywhere I am reading has said that Wave 1 was extremely short printed. I still haven’t even seen the standard booster box art.
Most websites are stating that they’re locked for Wave 2,

Still plenty of boxes on there and most of these singles are about half price of the above picture. Moonbreon however is around 2100rmb or $300.
I downloaded it but can’t figure out translation and how to buy anything haha
Box are not short printed. In China can be easily found below msrp. And price for singles are inflated, we are just in day 1 .

There should be a drop down option. 宝可梦 is Pokemon. 日文 is Japanese and 英文 is English, so if you just find those options you’ll be able to look through the buy now stuff. It’s all ordered in sets from newest to oldest. The auctions are random and everything is together so it’s just time based.
You wouldn’t be able to buy anything without a WeChat account linked to a Chinese bank account (I assume but haven’t tried from outside of China).
