Any news on the english set? would they follow too?

UK had a reprint, not sure about US. Around a month ago, Pokémon Center restocked Booster Bundles, Pokémon Center Exclusive ETB, UPC etc. 3rd party stores also got restocks. Lasted around 3 days though.

Just saw some panic selling off of master balls on Mercari the last day. Prices 25%-50% lower than a few weeks ago.

Are those black sleeves the PSA slabs are in? Agreed timing is rough. Part of the game with Modern for sure though.

English side had at least 2 reprints, not saying english wont get more but its a very different case to what happened in Japanese.

I’m curious, on the pokebeach article they say “Furthermore, we can now confirm Pokemon Japan has ordered a new print run of Pokemon Card 151. It will be restocked at stores in May.”

But what’s their source ? Does anybody know ?

Box prices in China are already below $120 USD (850rmb = $118).

Hopefully can see under $100 within a few weeks.

The missing cards for ownership is a clever way to word “incomplete”

I’d bet 100 of these sets exist in 3 years. Super popular. Easy to grade. My first thought when seeing them was to complete a set.

Sometimes, the best way to complete these sets is to let somebody else do it. Then buy the set at auction. Ex: the $30k Shadowless 10 set a few years ago. I think someone auctioned an LC Reverse 10 set - or maybe they were just talking about it. Still, a reason I stopped collecting Topps Chrome was because I figured a complete set would be auctioned eventually.

Grading fees were at least 2300, and that’s assuming he hit all 10s the first time

If they didn’t have a reserve, it probably would have gone higher. No serious seller uses a reserve.

Pokemon Japan TV on YouTube put out a video today and said she’s been told by store owners the reprint in May is expected to be ‘huge’.
