Ah okay, I donât know much about the techniques, but Iâll have a look at the two you mentioned then. Shipping was not even included, it was on a relatively cheap site, but they linked to an external party, I have a feeling Iâm not really the intended audience.
Do you know at what raw cost youâre looking if you make it with a consumer 3D printer?
For just material, about a dollar or so. If I were to sell them, I would probably sell them for around $5 a piece to compensate for running costs and time.
Do you have 3D hubs where you are from? You can go to 3dhubs.com and see if someone near you can print it.
I have a question: How long does the printing process takes? I just found out my local library has a 3D printing lab and for every 30min of printing it takes me 5⏠(incl. the material). Maybe I can get over there and print few of those stands =)
Iâve been wanting a perfectly perpendicular card holder for awhile now, so I spent a couple days in Sketchup and used the public libraryâs 3D printer a couple timesâŚ

My eBay username - wish the text and logo would have come out a better but I had to print the holder on a different axis than it was designed for as the 3d printer I was using wasnât tall enough. If I printed it again itâd look a lot better (although the holders would have to be shortened a little bit). The fit of the card in the holder is dreamlike - it slides in perfectly. Only took me 3 poorly fitting prototypes, ~40 hours of print time, and $30 to get it right haha. I might have to go out and get some sand paper, primer, and spray matte black paint to finish it off
