Saw this post on Pokebeach and wanted to know how the community felt. I think they look great and this seems like a fun approach to both trainer full arts and Pokemon full arts.

Thoughts?

now let’s wait for the sword and shield era and hope they get rid of ugly SR and RR style artwork. And rid of holos that barely look holo.

I’m secretly hoping for NFC cards or at least some sort of cool 3d effect. Although sometimes simplicity is better!

See I think it stands for COMMON Holo Rares.
I mean we will see when the official sell sheet comes out but I don’t always believe the beach 100% of the time. Since all of the pokemon masters are on common cards?

I have always loved cards that have both Pokemon + trainer on them, and the full art looks fantastic! I agree with the above, though, and hope they don’t ruin them with a rainbow variant. So. Tired. Of. Rainbow.

In hindsight I’m kind of shocked this wasn’t part of the special boxes they had recently for Misty and Brock in Japan. Fantastic idea.

Not gonna judge until I see pull rates and if these also be printed in Rainbow Puke. Because we all love to have pages full with generic silverfoil on cardboard.

Imagine a Misty’s Gyarados (Probably would be a Psyduck) or a Lance’s Gyarados (Probably would be a Dragonite).
