I am a big fan of Pokemon exploring different art styles even if this one isn’t my favorite. I will definitely keep a nice copy of the card as a token of its uniqueness.

Unfortunately the 208/S-P Pikachu promo has a regular Japanese new back. 
I had hoped it would get the black-and-white back displayed in the magazine and box, but alas…

I agree with others that this card doesn’t go far enough. They should have made the whole card, including the back, original art by Yu Nagaba.
However I am still pleased with the adventurous collaboration and hope we see more of such things.

I just received mine from the Pokemon Center online. Gotta say, it’s just as ugly in person as it is online.

I showed my GF the card and she said with excitement “Ohhh, I can draw a pikachu like that!” then proceeded to grab a piece of paper and spent the next 15 minutes drawing the pikachu lol
