Sweet this will be great for my upcoming collection post

Yes, looks like a great feature to have a journal style thread with constant updates and thoughts!

Cheers!

Bump with a cleaner UI!!

Is there a way to reformat existing threads to use this feature? I’d love to try it on my collection thread.

You just have to change the category and it will reformat. That said, all ā€œrepliesā€ will format properly but all standalone posts will show up as ā€œentriesā€. I can manually go in and edit it if it’s not too crazy (basically I have to recreate all the non-replies that aren’t from the OP and make them comments instead)

That’s exactly what I was hoping would happen. Thanks, I’ll give it a try!

Edit: I see what you mean about entries vs replies now, I slightly misunderstood the meaning of each. There are too many entries to worry about so I’ll leave it for now but thank you!

It seems to work better now. Thank you!

I think there’s still issues with it ā€œjumpingā€ to the right spot when you get a new reply but that will be a lot harder and more involved to correct. It will again depend on if people are using it.

Hmm I just tried it with my collection thread but doesn’t look to have done the thing.

It’s because the posts were exported from the old fourm where there we no replies

Ah makes sense

Ok, I fixed it all up for you! I also reuploaded the images so they are stored on the forum and are less likely to get broken over time

So if I were to apply this to my collection thread, is it just adding that tag to it?

Changing the category

Amazing! Thanks so much @pfm!

Just mentioning that there seems to be some unique features regarding for this type of a thread, if i comment under multiple posts it doesn’t allow me to add more than 5 comments after it says that i have made 5 posts in a row which kinda isn’t true for thread formated in this way. The general rules for regular threads seem to have some a bit clunky ways of working in this thread type, same way like this issue where the page jumps when trying to read new posts too
