Sent my Karen’s for a reholder. Had a plastic square defect in the case right on umbreons forehead.
They reholdered it (it is for sure a new slab), but in the pics you can see the defect is still there but ‘cleaned up’. It’s harder to see.
So they clearly saw this and worked on it to minimize, and what….used the same slab case?
Anyone have any clue on this?
Looks like a bad luck issue of the same damage in the same spot. I doubt theyd reuse the same slabs since i assume they break them apart to get to the card.
That’s an unfortunate problem with reholdering. There’s no guarantee that the same thing won’t happen, or even more things might happen. It is a weird coincidence, but that’s part of the process.
Yeah, I’m still pretty Sus. This being in the exact same spot on the same card, when I don’t have this spot on any other card I have, is odd.
Very weird for sure.
