Should have clicked faster.
less time emailing, more time clicking that button and paying for your want mr. my cash has better karma than your cash has guy
@cullers , You sure had me fooled all these years . . . insert surprised Pikachu face!
You didn’t have to be a dick and call him “buddy” to add injury to insult.
Karma will get you, or maybe not
Real talk though, are you actually leaving the hobby?
yea, moving on to what if I may ask @cullers?
Sometimes I wonder if I should enable blocked accounts to still be able to message me just to see the dumb stuff they say. I always just decide against it.
I’m no longer selling Pokemon cards through my own eBay store, that’s not going to get me to the next level $ wise. As far as activity in the hobby, I’ll still add to my personal collection, might buy some things and have PWCC sell them. It’s just not worth my time to do it myself anymore.
I’ll be doing other business that if anyone was really interested in knowing more they can message me as there is potential for more high end investors to buy in as well.
@cullers, i got $20, hmu
I’ve got $40 @cullers, pm us and we can work something out
I stopped quite a while back myself. Too much work and not enough support or protection from eBay. For me it all started last year with a dispute with a 3 rated person. 21 years with eBay and they decided in favor of the 3 rated dude. Of course after fighting it I won but it left a bad taste.
@cullers , Thanks buddy.
RIP yanma
So you guys think its better to just pay the fees to sell thru Pwcc and other auction houses? I’m curious if things really do get to be as much of a headache as you guys describe. One downside in my eyes is not being able to set a buy it now price. Auctions could sell high or low depending on the day etc. Any tips would be great!
P.s that’s great the person who bought the Yanma found this thread! Congratulations!
It’s more along the lines of where can I put my time that it makes sense. Packaging and listing was by far the most time consuming thing, answering messages wasn’t that big of a deal, even this guy wasn’t a big deal to me. I’m just not going to make a post of me listing and packaging for multiple hours as that’s not very entertaining, while a entitled eBayer is. So, you don’t actually see the real downside of selling, by just reading efour, imo.
For me, it’s not worth my time to go through everything anymore. I’d rather cut a percentage out of my earning to have PWCC do that, there’s the added bonus of them also handling the messages, taking the payments, and accepting the risk of any issues. I’ll focus my time on things that are more important to me.
That’s the biggest plus for me honestly.
You just send it to them, wait 2 months, and the money comes in.
Their fees vs the time & effort selling each card individually is worth it IMO.
For those who are worried about auctions ending low… well honestly if you send a card that’s >$300 chances are more likely than not you’ll get higher if not at least market.
