Movie Commemoration VS Pack cards graded?

I need some advice  I’m thinking about buying the Movie Commemoration VS Pack (this one: bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Movie_Commemoration_VS_Pack_(TCG) ) as there is a card that I really want to have, Butler’s Salamence. I’m thinking about grading that one and a few other cards from the set, but I’m not a big fan of all of the cards. I would grade about 5-6 of them.

I’ve noticed that this set isn’t the most popular one of the movie sets, I don’t know if it is because it’s rare or if people just don’t have interest in it? As I’ll grade only a few of the cards for my own collection, I’m wondering if it would make sense to grade the rest of the set (at least the pokemon) as well and try to sell them? Would they sell? What would be the worth of a card scoring a 9 or 10 from this set? And if I would sell the rest of the set as mint without grading them would they sell? It wouldn’t be a full set so I have some doubts

I have no idea and last time when I saw something about this set as graded was long time ago when I saw a person selling all the cards of this set on eBay as a whole. I don’t remember how much the seller was asking for. I found the listing as I was looking for that Butler’s Salamence that I’m still missing. I can’t find separate cards as well. Everything I find about this VS Pack is sealed products and there are only 3 sellers on eBay selling it. I’m still thinking do I really want it just for a few cards but it’s been in my mind for long time.

Obviously if anyone around here is interested of any of the cards the set I’ll happily trade etc. All I want for myself is Salamence, Flygon, Tropius and Linoone. And I thought of grading the Jirachi as well as it’s a holo and Absol as it’s cool but I’m not too attached into those two

I haven’t bought the pack yet, I want to consider everything before I make the purchase.

Very obscure non holo cards even graded as a 10 I am sure you would have difficulty really getting anything out of them let alone getting your money back. Being from Finland I am sure your grading cost counting shipping both ways would be at least $12-$15 per card or so. Then add in the fact that you paid $3-$4 per card and the fees eBay will take when they sell your break even point would be a selling price of like $20-$25 per card. I have trouble getting that on even most of the ex series holos and any unlimited WOTC holos that are fairly popular. IMO 9’s would be a near total loss and 10’s would at most make a few bucks. Grading everything would likely be a losing proposition. Probably just go with grading what you want for yourself IMO. See if you can find trades or sell the other cards raw. Good luck!

@smpratte offers his grading services too

They used to have REALLY cheap decks on stop2shop. I’m not sure if they still have any in stock or not.

I checked the site and seems like they did have the deck for cheap but it’s sold out D:
