It’s going to be interesting to see people holding this many 10s that are still just a drop in the ocean because as far as I’m aware, the majority of these 10s aren’t from bulk submissions
Considering @silversnorlax204 posted this 2016 XY Evolution energy PSA-10 that went for 263 USD:
Nothing regarding the prices of graded 10s can surprise me anymore tbh. Even if there are a halve a million PSA-10s of this McDonald’s Pikachu, the value would still be pretty high since it’s a Pikachu and it’s a PSA-10. Doesn’t matter how many there are, those two combined will - unfortunately - always have a rather high value compared to raw copies or other Pokémon. ![]()
Greetz,

I agree completely. I am just surprised on the overall trends that we see on the modern market. I wonder if all popular Pokemon graded a 10 will be highly valued, regardless of the population. Not to mention any ungraded card also spiking massively due to the ‘potential to be a 10’ thing.
Fundamentals aside, the whole Seismitoad card and now the Solosis card spiking so high seems to be setting a trend that the Pokemon does not even have to be popular. You find some silly gimmick in the card and it will go to the moon.
Cheers!
I must have missed the Solosis.
But I guess you’re right. Still don’t understand why the Seismitoad is 200+ USD.. Although I must admit it’s refreshing to see some unpopular Pokémon get some love.
Although I doubt the reverse will happen anytime soon, as in an FA Charizard, Umbreon, or Pikachu being just 10 bucks or so, haha. ![]()

I know no one cares about CCIC, but I included it for personal interest. This is the current state of the card grades.
This is a super cool breakdown to see - thanks for sharing. (Also, I just recently learned that CCIC apparently does all types of grading and certification in commercial and industrial settings??? It seems like that’s actually the bulk of their business haha)
In a follow-up announcement from Bandai (who released One Piece Card Game), cards which are supposed to be distributed in the cancelled McDonald’s promotion will be released in the TCG’s own in-house events and card shop purchase bonuses instead. McDonald’s is no longer involved.
These are fake right? A lot of listings from China at suspiciously cheap prices? Listed as “New - Sealed”.
Are these on auction of BIN? The prices have dropped overall but the condition of the Pikachu card is not ideal in those cases.
These prices if true would be awesome and also might be an indication of the hype slowly fading. But it does seem too good to be true.
Cheers!
They are all BIN but have been there a while, and there are multiple listings (all from China). The listings direct from Japan are 2-3x that price.
The price on eBay is too cheap, which doesn’t make sense because the same item is more expensive on the Chinese marketplace. Why would a Chinese seller sell and ship it internationally on eBay, incurring more hassle, rather than selling it locally?
18 pounds = 172 rmb
Wow, that’s a new twist. Are these also art exclusives? The sudden story change on their release is cool.
There were a lot of reports early that the chinese listings on ebay would be fakes. Based on the prices, im likely to believe that and stay away from those.
The prices for ungraded cards have been slowly trickling down as the days go by. Thanks for sharing the data like always.
Cheers!
I think it’s very possible that the card will become the most graded Pokémon of all time by the end of the year/beginning of next year
Yeah, I should have sold mine a couple weeks ago lol
