My June 2015 update of mostly Japanese things Ive been buying. These pictures were taken on my bed so please ignore any jizz stains… couldnt control my excitement after all of this lot arriving!

Do you have your eye on the Japanese 1996 gold gift set box? I am still missing that one, and really want to find it sealed.

Makes me want to start collecting boxes! The whole idea of not knowing what cards are sealed away in the boxes is heart racing!

Ahh the gold gift set box. That one eludes me too. I think ive only ever seen one on eBay and it was literally just the box with nothing else inside.

I love my sealed boxes, but in the past ive been dissappointed with the quality of english cards so i find them quite easy not to open, they will remain more valuable sealed.
The japanese stuff however… That base set box may have already been opened

Does anybody happen to know what is inside that world championships box? I just brought it cos it looked rare without actually knowing anything about it!
@donmatty89 World Champions Pack in Japanese is the equivalent of EX Power Keepers in English. It was released in limited quantities so that the Japanese TCG players would have access to the cards from the Power Keepers expansion.
Oh so does it contain a random or fixed set of cards? Theres no way im ever gonna open it sadly (unless i get a second one ) I thought given the name world champions, it was more like some kind of tournament prize.
It contains random cards like a booster pack I believe. Like @fourthstartcg said it mirrors ex Power Keepers.
I actually opened two of those WCP boosters. So each pack has 15 cards in it, and it seems you’re pretty much guaranteed an EX card, or if you’re lucky,you pull a gold star. I got a Flareon gold star and Flygon EX. If I recall correctly, there are 5 rare cards total, with one being a trainer or energy.
