I can break down the Blastoise price. In the last 6 months. Approximately 6 have sold give or take 1 or two. (This is online) 4 of them have all sold at just over 2k or just under. With 3 of them being under. I bought one myself at 1850, another sold for 1950, and etc etc. The only two sales on eBay that have broke 2500 were both by the same person. Pokémon Syndicate. One at 2500 and one at 3000. Without getting too personal, Synd was in no place to purchase these cards. And has since parted with one, and most likely will part with the other. The only sale that has been over 3k not including Syndicates, is the one Gary has claimed to sell over 3k. Other than that. There are no histories of sales over 3k in the current market. By current, I mean the last 1year-6months. A cards value is all about what someone will pay. But as of now. There are 4 separate sales at 2k. One person who bought 2 for 2.5k and 3k. And Gary’s private sale. I wouldn’t go shoveling out over 2.5k anytime soon. Just my opinion

i think $2500 is a fair valuation for anyone who isn’t in a rush to sell, i think with a little patiance someone will buy for that price, i think u could sell instantly sell at 2000.
