I’ve posted this before, but I still think about it all the time because I feel kinda bad about it. This was an auction with best offer on, so I sent an offer of 25 + shipping the first day it was up. Still have them since I don’t sell anything:
-4 lugia promo coins
-near full set of viz video 3d promos (in near perfect condition) that came with VHS tapes
-4 blockbuster snap station cards
-other stuff

Not sure if it was objectively a lowball due to there not being much pricing data, but it definitely felt like one when my $400 offer on a Portuguese XY booster box listed for $700 got accepted two years ago.

A blurry picture of someone’s thumb, but with an immaculate description of holos ranging from Base through Rocket, led to one of my better pickups. I offered super low just to start the conversation and get some more pics, and to my surprise, they accepted. I was even more surprised when around 30 WOTC holos, all NM or better, showed up packed incredibly carefully.

During superbowl… 2022? tossed $25 at a PSA 9 squirtle arcanine. Seller accepted.

Complete HGSS Triumphant reverse set: $222 in 2022, they needed to sell for bills, but I didn’t know at first.
One of my most cherished parts of collection, and probly can’t bring myself to sell… Would feel wrong.

I didn’t lowball offer but got lucky on a random auction. $3k for a PSA 9 blue stamp 1st edition pack when they were $5k all day raw. It should be a 10 but crimp was cut slightly crooked. It’s now in the $11-15k range.
