As far as I can tell, some investors are happy he is collecting, hoping he will increase the price of cards or sealed products. And some other rambling. I personally don’t care, I don’t like him and i don’t dislike him either,I don’t follow him or care what he gets up too. I only know what this tread has told me and a random boxing match with KSI which I seen advertise a while ago.
Slow down and let me buy my psa 8/9 1st ed base set before prices keep going up.

Lol every page of this thread was Logan hate. What I’m curious about is what would the impact of his influence be if he made a main channel video about his Pokemon collect/base box opening?

Why yes, I do believe that a video that was viewed over 30 million+ times has brought awareness to suicide prevention. By your logic, we might as well stop all public service announcements and ads since suicide prevention is already so “mainstream” and we couldn’t possibly bring any more visibility to it. Here’s the thing: his primary audience (i.e. adolescence) is significantly different from the demographic on this board. While your years of experience and livelihood have helped shape your views on different topics – perhaps to the point where you are well-versed in the topic of mental health – his audience have not generally reached that same level of intellectual maturity. And I’m not saying this ironically either. All our knowledge comes from somewhere and I think it’s a positive thing that Logan is using his position as an “influencer” to help promote education on an often misunderstood topic.
It’s interesting because no matter what sort of corrective actions he tries to take there will always be some angle to criticize him. The response to his initial written apology was him being called out and told that he needs to educate himself and put his money where his mouth’s at. So guess what, the guy talks to multiple people/organizations to educate himself and he commits over a million dollars in charitable donations to suicide prevention causes. But of course, people can never be happy so they find the next low hanging fruit: “let’s accuse him of commercializing suicide and doing everything for the sake of PR!”
Multiple suicide prevention groups and health professionals have publicly acknowledged his efforts in educating himself and have thanked him for raising awareness and contributing as generously as he has. But regardless of what these folks have said (you know, subject matter experts who actually know what they’re talking about), the majority of us (i.e. cardboard obsessed idiots) are content in continuing to believe that Logan is incapable of any good. Seriously, how intellectually dishonest can some of you be? I guess short of asking for his head, there really is nothing that will appease you folks.

In under 24 hours there has been dozens of posts but no one really answered my question… if someone was offering you double the last sold, would you sell? What wouldnt you sell? Doesnt matter who… would you “double up” ?

Also no one really made any guesses as to where the next place for his collection/participation in the hobby would end up being… i personally think he is going to fade after he gets enough base set, dont consider my opinion at all educated on his tastes but i dont think he wants much more than the OG stuff, i would be a bit surprised if he collected much outside of base.
I’m not taking sides, but humans make mistakes, everyone on the forum has, a person should be judged by the person they are today

Sounds like you have watched a lot of his content (you know a ton about him) for someone that purports to dislike him.
Holding someone’s past against them forever is immature.
I would be guess that most young men have made some poor decisions. He just happens to have made a poor decision publicly. Doesn’t mean he is a bad person or that he cannot grow as an individual.
If we were all judged Permanently by our poor decisions, everyone would be in trouble.

I Laughed at Jackass growing up, and I consider this much the same.
But if I were inclined to, i’d purposely bid up any auction I saw him bidding on. Although seems like someone already had, cause the 1st ed base box only got that high cause someone was bidding against him. 
This is said again and again I say, where did you or anyone see that it was Logan who bought it?

The funniest part is thinking you have a choice or would go through the effort to find out if the buyer is someone that has a moral conscience and a good member of society.
Imagine a drug lord offering you 1 million for a card worth 100.

Ugh, that argument still sucks massive balls dude. Whether or not you know a criminal’s identity does not make him more or less of a bad person.
@shadowless I just don’t see the salt here. All of the ‘haters’ made it abundandly clear that there are countless reasons they dislike him, non of which are the price he paid for the box or is his wealth.
He’s an asshat in my books. You are free to not give a shit what I think about him.

It’s an extreme example that is not likely to happen. Just trying to make a point that most people selling do not do DD to who they sell to because the main objective is to maximise gains. Moral compasses fly out the window when big money is on the table.
Also do you know Logan personally? He may come across as an immature douche but does it warrant such extreme hatred?

It’s totally fine, everyone can have whatever opinion about this guy. But what the hell does that matter on a freaking Pokémon forum. And if not for this sale (which is not even approved to be bought by Logan?) no one would’ve bat an eye. The amount of hate towards a guy that close to zero people here really know astonishes me.
