Can’t choose 3. I’m not gonna even try, but I can tell you which my favorite is:

It’s not about rarity, or value. Favorite mon; Signed; Awesome art; Got it before autos exploded because I WANTED it, not because I thought it’d be valuable.

and because it’s different than what others have posted, but certainly a cool card, I often think fondly on this card:

Woah! I’ve never seen a played disco card before!!! How long have you had that and how did you obtain it?

A handful of discos were cut in 1999 by an employee and were likely played with. The rest of them were cut in 2023 from a stored sheet so condition is better. I bought it more than a year ago.

If I were a species collectors and I found the disco of my pokemon I would lose it. Did anyone even know of their existence when you picked that up? That’s really awesome and even better in the condition yours is in imo.

Probably these three exact cards.

Pikachu: this is the first Pokémon card I owned. Given to me by my childhood best friend while at my house one afternoon in 1999, I was introduced to the brand for the first time & taught how to (sort of) play/collect the TCG. It was all downhill from there!

Pokémon Trader: the rare pull from my first ever pack of Pokémon cards. Oh the disappointment I felt holding this thing for the first time all those years ago!

Beedrill: this is the “rarest” surviving card I still have from the Overgrowth theme deck that my parents bought for me when I first got started collecting (and after the failure to pull a single holo from any booster packs).

I purposely keep these three cards as part of my Base master set, to make sure they get the respect they’ve earned after all these years.

The 2006 Tidal Wave is one of my favourite cards I own and is probably my favourite of all the worlds cards. I love it! I also really like the original (do not own it sadly) and 2004! The other tidal wave cards like 2005 and 2010 are great too. The other two are cards I really like, but truly, it could be any number of the cards I have in this list!
