Left Card out of PSA Order

I submitted a 50-card order to PSA a week ago and I forgot to include one card. So they’ll get 49 cards and a list with 50. Anyone ever done this before? Will they just grade the 49 and note that one is missing? (I hope that’s the case.) Thanks for any thoughts.

Youll have to call them when they receive your package and your receive is on hold. It will say so on the website. You will be told your issue (which you already know), and then they will email you the issue. You reply yes in acknowledgment, and then you move on

I’d send quick explanatory message in advance of them receiving the order, that way it doesn’t slow down processing and be moved to the “problem” pile. They will also probably refund you the difference since there’s no card to grade.

Sub will be put on hold. They’ll email you eventually.

I don’t check PSA’s website every day, so I usually find out through an email. They’re good about it. I’ve had it happen 8 times or so.

Thanks everyone–I appreciate the insights. I’ll send a proactive email and keep an eye on the website and order status in case they get in touch. Glad to hear I’m not the first and they won’t necessarily mail it right back.
