I agree! Either some of those are currently underpriced or Latias & Latios GX is massively overpriced. Or perhaps both can be true depending on your expectations for these cards.

I think this card is truly amazing for several reasons. First, and whatâs most obvious, it features a heart shape but unlike many other cards with overly pink, glittery designs, especially those featuring Pikachu or Gardevoir, this one doesnât feel overly âgirlyâ or sugary. Itâs a depiction of Love with a capital L but in a mature and sincere way, not focused on romance or teasing.
Whatâs also refreshing is how Latias and Latios are portrayed. Unlike most cards where theyâre flying in typical, almost mechanical poses, this one gives them a more serene, peaceful vibe. And seeing both of them together on a single card is very nice and it means you donât need to collect two separate cards to enjoy their dynamic in one unified scene, which I often find a bit annoying with other releases.
As for the sunset background, while itâs kind of become a bit of a clichĂ© on a lot of cards, it still works here and adds to the overall vibe. But what really stands out to me is the symmetry in the design, which is pretty rare and a nice touch when there are multiple PokĂ©mon on the card. Itâs not just about having one PokĂ©mon in the center; thereâs a balance to the whole composition that gives the card a more complete feel.
I think this card is incredibly unique and beautiful in the Pokémon TCG. I believe it still deserves far more recognition and appreciation than it currently gets.

I appreciate the insight! I agree it is a great card for sure! I do think that even at the time this card stood out as different from many others, so I certainly understand why people love it so much! I absolutely enjoy it as well, just not as much at its current price point, just because there are so many cards with a lot more history available around that price. Plus, for that era, I do love the Magikarp and Wailord Gx even more and it is way cheaper. 
I really like the magikarp/wailord GX, but the SM166 promo that I find really really nice.
