With the release of Black Bolt & White Flare looking to be an absolutely huge set with all of the card variations, it got me thinking if it is the biggest. I think it might be as there haven’t been many sets with pokeball and masterball holos which make up a large part of it.
But then again they are technically 2 separate sets, so even though I look at it as one not everyone will.
Fusion Strike made history with a huge 284 different cards (not including holo variants) which I still think is the biggest. But as a master set is beaten out by Prismatic Evolutions with all of it’s variants.
I know Base Set can be huge if you include all of the different print runs. Not sure where it would end up amongst the biggest sets though.
There are also all of the promotional and stamped cards that you could include in a master set.
I’d be curious if anyone does know what the top 3 largest master sets would be if we include all cards?
