I’m not sure what banks was thinking when making this thread but I wouldn’t include reverses or else this will have 100s and 100s of cards. Moreso, which set holos differ between tpc and tpci, which would probably only be up until bw when the holo situation changed?
Also things like chinese exclusive reverse patterns are documented in the threads of those sets.

This is a good moment to clarify the goal:
which non-holo cards got a holo exclusive? Not counting set wide reverse holos like modern schinese or EN gen 3 reverse holos
The french McDonald’s promos are great example that fit these criteria.

The Triple Get lottery promos are some great ones. Can’t provide scans for all of them because I am poor
A lot of Battle Road prize cards too. I think that’s what they are—I don’t know the Japanese promos all that well. But I’m talking about those energies and etc.

I guess the ones I was thinking of aren’t quite exclusive holos (only cosmos-holo exclusive), since their equivalents in the WotC sets have reverse holos available. I was thinking of energies like Crystal (039/P), Boost (040/P), Warp (041/P0, etc.
Somewhat similar situation with things like Armor Fossil and Skull Fossil from Spring Battle Road promos? Their reverse holos in English are non-art-box though, and the Japanese promos have the holo in the art.
Back to energies, I think the McDonald’s e-series energy holos are exclusive (Water, Grass, Psychic, Fire, Water, Lightning).
There are probably a good amount amongst the Japanese promos, so @mrbubbles may be able to help, if so willing.
Checklane blisters and the new Prize Pack cards will have probably some English exclusives (Prize Pack, if you consider the art-box holos to be exclusive, even if a non-art-box one exists.) One example for checklane promos are Wooper and Quagsire:

I don’t have a list for all my cards in terms of exclusives, but excluding the cosmos borders (since there is already another tracking thread for SV cosmos promos), here are several.

Actually that makes me think… your intention with this thread has some gray areas, like perhaps you consider E series borders to be different cards, but in terms of art, we could also consider some cards such as Dark Venusaur vs best of game
or web cards (birds)
rocket’s scizor (slightly different than vs)
nintendo promos vs e series suicune 030 and celebi /p (as well as the lottery promos mentioned by bob, and i can show my pic)

All “star” cards in the SV era are holos.
Also, if you’re checking websites, English doesn’t have any holofoil effect whatsoever on their digital scans or rather digital files.
The only reason there is any holo effect at all from G1-4 is because they are actual scanned cards.
There are a bunch of exclusive holos either way since then since the sets are never 1:1. I listed a bunch of SV cards that are holo exclusive to English.
Personally I think this thread should just stick to set cards because otherwise it will have thousands of entries with all the cards turned into promos or reprinted variants (English has a tonne of these for all their boxes).
