Yes he doesn’t do public signing events, and hasn’t in years.

This Hypno was bought for $2,000 and sent to Beckett. BGS/BAS authenticated the autograph. Personally, I would not touch it with a ten-foot pole.

I feel like I’m a noob at autographs and I can tell it’s fake. I don’t think he’s used that thin of a marker recently at all.
Never in my life would spend any money on this. I even would refuse it as a gift

Yes, I forgot to add mine! I paid $6k in August 2024 privately to the owner that got this card signed by Sugimori at worlds:
I know he also recently sold a signed/sketched Lucario and while I do not know the exact price, I know it was north of what I paid.
Also, this Ninetales (that I am still kicking myself for not bidding on) was sold on Fanatics back in September:

@mrbubbles thank you! Unlike a lot of people who dig on it, Poliwrath is actually one of my favorite Pokemon so I was pretty excited for this! I also quite enjoy Fire Red Leaf Green, and the best part was buying it directly from the person who had it signed at worlds. There exists a signed Fire Red Leaf Green Poliwhirl that I am also trying to obtain but the owner doesn’t want to budge on price
