I have a questions about this series:

Did they print reverse holo primes?

I have one kingdra prime that has the reverse effect on the card but also the prime border.

There were “mirror holo” cards in the Japanese HGSS era, I had never seen a Prime card with that effect before but I found this Crobat Prime on eBay so looks like there indeed were mirror holo Primes too www.ebay.com/itm/GMG-Japanese-Holo-Foil-Crobat-037-070-Prime-Soul-Silver-1st-Edition-Pokemon-SP/162594191652?hash=item25db5e7924:g:WzcAAOSwf~ZZbBQB

Thanks. So they were an intended print then? I have a kingdra prime like that. They do seem to be quite rare as I recall only obtaining one from three boxes.

@crzy55 Looks like so, don’t quote me on that but I assume they were intended to be like that too. Looks like they aren’t common or people aren’t very aware of them… I find it interesting though

I’m pretty sure Szicor prime is from a Japanese theme deck, so I’m assuming the level of difficulty to obtain that card in unlimited is different, probably easier compared to other cards, especially for a mint copy, as you might be able to find a sealed unlimited deck.

I believe it was intentional
Also I definitely have a few mirror primes from L1, L2, and L3, and I don’t think they did any mirror cards for lost link.
It also should be available in 1st and unlimited for the L sets.

That may be so, but I wanted to post it anyway

Yea I’ve ran across 3 or 4 L2 scizors that are unlimited including the one I own but it does seem that this card pops up more frequently than the set cards for L2 L3. And I’ve been so incredibly busy I haven’t updated in forever but I have slowly been piecing together the L2 and L3 sets in unlimited! Im excited to show you guys and will ASAP!

Awesome to see that you are putting together a set!

I feel like it may have been mentioned before, but any chance you know about the Random Legend Basic Packs? I saw on ebay that a bunch of the stock images are unlimited, but I’d ask the seller first.

All the ones I have ordered even if they showed it being unlimited have been 1st edition. If there is one out there that is unlimited that would mark the first known L1 unlimited cards so hopefully there are but for now its still a mystery

Unlimited Scizor Prime. Don’t know if I’ve posted this one already. The seller doesn’t respond to inquiries, unfortunately, so no way of knowing if they have unlimited commons.

I’ve seen quite a few unlimited scizor so you would think there would be more unlimited cards from the deck that it comes from like the commons but so far I don’t believe I’ve seen any other cards just the scizor

The information I know is only a little.

Japanese Toys’ R Us Campaign Pack 2009 has a pack of “L1”.
HereHowever, the unlimited version of “L1” is still uncertain.
Here"L2" unlimited version

The unlimited version of “L1: Lugia” may become this prize.

From what i have seen, aside from the legendary pokemon lottery campaign runner up prize legend pieces, L1 unlimited just doesnt exist. In stock photos you see unlimited boosters and boxes but when you message the seller to confirm they alwayd turn out to be 1st edition. I am willing to put it out there and say im 99% certain than no unlimited L1 cards have come from packs.

I’m thinking the same thing. Apart from fake stock images, I’ve never seen any unlimited edition L1. UED L2 and L3 are also pretty rare, but at least you see them from time to time. When I bought a lot with 7,000 Japanese cards, it also had about 25 L2/L3 UED, but even though it contained like 400 L1 cards, not one of them was UED.

Until I see any UED L1 card, I removed it from my Pikachu checklist. (That still leaves some other UED Japanese cards to find, though…)

@quuador i think its one of those where the likelihood is they dont exist so unless evidence for them existing surfaces beyond stock photos (actual cards) then i think its safe to say they dont.

Edit: just thinking about it the other alternative possibility for the to exist is them being released in the same manner as e1 unlimited maybe through some sort of event as one offs.

Thought about that as well (one of those UED cards I still need…) But whether they were released as special promos like the E1 UED, or are just very rare like the World Championship Pack UED (I’m glad I have this Pikachu, but I still need the Seviper and Battle Frontier…), unless I see an actual photo of any UED L1 card I’m going to leave them off my list for now.
