Typically do unlimited LEGEND cards cost substantially more than 1st ed ones? Im new to this and was hoping to get the whole LEGEND set.
Unlimited is significantly much more. A non popular mirror 1st edition is $2 but the unlimited is $30. Japanese sellers recently caught on that unlimited is much more valuable. A few years ago you could find unlimited in random listings without a premium being added.
Not trying to be a downer, but I don’t recommend doing unlimited if you are just looking to complete the sets. It will be very expensive to complete, which likely would take several years if not decades to do. You are competing against species collectors checking 3 times a day for new listings, and also some set collectors who are halfway done already. It’s not fun seeing Umbreon mirror for $2k when the 1st edition is $20

Ditto what Eeveeteam said however, if you’re referring to purely these Legend cards then typically you might see an increase in price for unlimited. The Ho-Oh and Lugia however, will be significantly higher due to their release. (promo only)

I am only referring to these LEGEND cards. I think they look fantastic. Not looking for PSA 10s just clean enough for the binders. I think I saw a full unlimited set for around 1k at MP. Does that sounds about right?

1st post here, I’m from France and Tomokazu Komiya collector. i’ve completed a master set of all japanes Komiya cards except for one. I’m looking for a Japanese Legends Makuhita reverse unlim. If anyone hear about somewhere I could find one…. Please tell me
