Hello everyone.
We’ve recently refactored all the Japanese variants on TCG Collector, and noticed that some of the Prime Pokémon have a rarity, others don’t. We were wondering if there’s a specific rarity for these cards, like a “Prime Rare”. If not, what would their rarity be?
The rule of thumb is promos and theme deck cards would lack rarity since they are guaranteed. But for the primes available in L1-L3 & LL, those appear to be holo rares. Bulbapedia refers to them as holo rare primes.

Would the official rarity be Rare Holo then? Isn’t the Holo Rare Prime rarity from Bulbapedia “invented”?
Yes it’s likely invented. I’m not sure if there is an official designation, rarities before BW basically fall to standard rarities.
Even this Japanese Wiki page does not differentiate them differently from holo rares but they are their own category as Prime pokemon.
