I went card shopping in Tokyo last night, went to a few different stores and picked up lot of cheap modern ARs. No cards had the “Damaged” sticker on them (all described as New, Pack Fresh etc).
In all cases, the front of the cards were immaculate when reflected in strong sunlight. But the backs often contained some kind of staining as ive tried to capture below. It was often a series of short, dark horizontal lines, with no evidence of any damage on the card front.
I assumed some kind of damage, but with it being from multiple shops across multiple sets I’m not so sure.
Ultimately it doesnt matter as they are for a binder, but just wondering if anyone else has seen this on the back of their Japanese modern raw cards?
