Bought a set of 4th print base set trainer cards , worried as the text and some of the colours look off to me.
I don’t see anything wrong with the cards in your pictures on first glance.
FWIW, the colors of the ©1999-2000 Base Set are lighter than their ©1999 counter-parts, if that’s what you meant by:

Yes I thought the colours were too light and some of the edges of the portraits looked too sharp. Also thought text of copyright also looked wrong.
Didn’t realise how different 1999-2000 cards are. Comparing to other 4th prints I’m less concerned these are fake now, thanks.

Hey I mean this is what led me to e4, it’s a fun topic, by the way has anyone been able to estimate the pull rates for a holo?
Holos can be pulled from booster boxes and theme decks from the UK although most boxes have left over unlimited holos in.
The highest pull rates come from the UK boxes that were shipped to Poland with polish language stickers stuck on them.
Boxes from the USA and Australia only have unlimited holos in them!

Thanks for the info it’s always nice to learn something new that’s probably what I enjoy most about this hobby. I’m good on the 4th print group thanks for the offer though right now I have other collection goals that I need to focus on maybe someday I’ll join.

If you submit to CGC they should be able to determine if it’s genuine
