Hi,
I just got this pack off of eBay. I have never held a team rockets pack before but the top and bottom both have these weird glue marks? And scratches on it too? I tried checking some pack images on YouTube and this seems to be there on packs but not this prominent I think.
Please let me know if this super sketch and should I be returning this.

@fizzyadrenaline , edit: I did not notice the other pictures…the other pictures look abnormal to me. The middle one especially.
I know right. When I browse through eBay I do see a lot of the packs have this kind of a glue on top and bottom while others don’t. I’m not really sure if this is how these packs were made in the first place in some print run as every other pack on eBay can’t be resealed right.
Maybe someone who has some experience with team rocket can enlighten us
I have some Team Rocket packs with glue marks like that. You should be good.
Oh ok. Thanks for confirming. Weird af though. I love the black. So unique. The glue really is jarring. My only concern is some day if I decide to Sell it again to eBay some person doesn’t return it back to me claiming it’s resealed 
@fizzyadrenaline Not resealed. Most are like that. Look up pack openings on youtube from freshly cracked boxes. I see that more often than I see perfect crimps on Rocket set for whatever reason.
Right. I did notice notice the same as I mentioned in the post but this one seemed a lot more prodund/scratched and hence wanted to double check.
@fizzyadrenaline totally understand. I would wager with good money that you are totally fine. And applying logic, someone would want to cover that up if it were a reseal. As in, that looks bad, so why not try to embellish that area? But yeah it looks good to me because that is a machine marking–and like said before, matches many of the rocket packs I’ve opened and even more that I’ve seen. Are you planning on keeping it sealed?
Thanks for confirming. I’m planning to get it sealed because I think it’s light. It’s 20.75 / 20.8. I don’t see a point opening it if it’s light lol. This is my second only wotc pack though. I have never had the chance to open any wotc

But yeah if you are gonna go store it, especially if you grade it, you’re fine. And hey, if you happen to grade it, and it comes back rejected, you’re good to file with paypal even if it’s past ebay 30 day return FYI. So nothing to worry about. Congrats on another addition!
edit: oh btw sorry I redundantly said “look up on youtube” on that first post. haha. I must’ve scanned over your original post and blanked out on applying it to my consciousness haha.
Hahaha. Not a problem. Don’t plan to grade it as I feel grading packs is redundant and plus with the glue and the the major scratch on the glue (2nd pic) it wouldn’t come as a 10 anyway. So I’ll just keep it sealed and sell it some day. And I recently acquired a skyridge (from a box break but unfortunately got a light) and this one I bought it light (cheap). But yeah these are my very first wotc packs. I also bought a jungle 1st ed from a box break so that’s coming in and hoping it’s heavy so I’ll be able to open my first wotc ever. Otherwise the search will continue! But yeah skyridge is my fav set and I hope some day I can justify the price for a heavy or have the money to buy a booster box.
