Yes, I have thought about the Chinese versions but I don’t know if they were distributed the same way in Japan. Not much information I could find.
But, I usually save up for the big ticket items I want and buy it when I can

The Lillie (and the other two Extra Battle Day supporters) were regular set cards in the Chinese Dreams Come True Collection: bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Dreams_Come_True_Collection_(ATCG). The Lillie is a Secret Rare in set B (202/200). Since it’s from a set, the price is around 200-300 USD last time I checked (EDIT: It’s 350-400 USD now by the looks of it, I see a couple available on eBay). So if you’re mainly after the artwork, it’s a cheaper option than the Japanese one, which was given at the Extra Battle Day tournament events.
But if you want to save money and buy the Japanese version, I can still understand. I have the Japanese version myself as well. 
@nish simply offered a much cheaper alternative if you’re primarily after the artwork.
