Is there a market for sealed 1999 burger king meal bags?

I have a sealed box of these bags from 1999, i have no clue what they are worth or who would even buy them. Does anyone have any clue what it could be worth?

Photo taken from google as the box is still sealed.

Do you mean like a paper bag?

I know there is a small market of McDonalds collectors (maybe they also like the competitors), I don’t know if there is a specific market of Pokemon collectors for this specific thing, but there’s probably someone out there who would want this.

Its pretty niche. Could be anything from $20-100 depending on the use. Personally id make trick or treat goodie bags with them for halloween just for fun but it seems a shame to destroy history like that.

Holy shit dude send those to CGC asap. They love grading crazy stuff like that can generate publicity!

There’s a group on Facebook called “Vintage Pokemon Collectors” where you might find someone with a taste for things like this. I feel like the crowd there seems to like all sorts of vintage Pokemon items there, with more leaning towards non-Japanese vintage items.

Hey man, im like 90% sure this comment was sarcastic… but regardless i thought it would be funny to reach out. They replied and said they would reach out in a few days after some research haha.

Also apparently the photos didnt all attach. This is the sealed package of the bags

Cgc grading cases of paper bags now? This would actually be so funny to see in a case I wonder if they have a case that would fit it well, I know that they have console cases but idk the size

It would be quite a sight haha. Im typically a card collector, so i know about card grading ofc but i never knew there were like “item” grading a encapsulating services too.

I think a sealed package of paper bags would prolly be the most boring item ever graded lol

On the contrary imagine how funny it would be, imagine someone visiting and seeing the graded paper bags and asking what’s in the fancy case, oh ya that’s my professionally authenticated paper bag case it’s a 1/1 grade nobody else has it. Depending on how much cgc asks and if they are willing to grade it in the first place I think it’d be a pretty funny thing to have

Youre kinda selling me on getting this graded lmao. If they say no maybe ill ask some other companies.

Honestly though i dont really wanna keep it, really just into cards, so im not sure its worth even doing. Doesnt seem to be many people interested though so who knows

It’s a VERY niche market, but there is probably some demand. Trust your gut.

What exactly is in these bags?

Its a shipping package… of the meal bags. So there is quite literally nothing in them lol. Its just the bag your food would come in but with the pokemon (pikachu) image and branding on each of the 500 bags.

Nothing actually interesting sadly

Oh, that’s unfortunate.

You could save them till Halloween this year. Put some candy and those Halloween packs inside them and give them out

Honestly if i dont find a buyer i think i might do this. I was hoping to get a little money out of them, but i think this would be a cool idea

Could decorate the house with Pokemon Halloween items too. Spinark instead of spiders. Pumpkaboo, gengar, etc

Just heard back from them, they 100% turned it down. Rip
