I didn’t expect CGC to increase their grading fees so much. You guys think it’s still worth it or should I wait for PSA to start accepting submissions again, but who knows when that’ll be.
If a CGC slab fell in front of me I’d accelerate it to the floor

Based on increases in prices and turnaround times at CGC they really aren’t as attractive comparatively. With CGC’s initial edge being gone I think waiting for PSA is more reasonable than it’s been over the past year. Of course we don’t know when PSA is reopening their cheapest option or what it will look like. It also depends on the average value of cards you have and what service levels make sense to use.

I’ll be honest. I love the clear slab CGC have, looks great. And the PSA slab is looking increasingly dated - along with the fact I’ve seen some very dodgey grading and errors come out of PSA lately, most likely due to the demand. Nobody is perfect. Annoyingly the wait has increased significantly and being in UK I’m up piss creek without a paddle right now.
