Personally, I have no issue with it at all. Most times, the offers are not close to the asking price anyways. And I get it, we as collectors are always looking for that next “steal” or “deal”. I just simply ignore it and move on. Someone will eventually pay.

It’s fine if the offer is reasonable, since it is suggested in the make an offer topic when you contact a seller who doesn’t have offers enabled.
As one of the very biggest collectors around, I’m not always looking for a steal or a deal. I totally believe in fair market as a buyer or seller or trader.
But we all know that you’re not the average collector lol.
I agree, I’d like to think that the buyer/seller would know what the fair market value is for the card. Maybe I should’ve excluded “steal” but if I believe I can offer the seller a price that I feel is fair and not far from his/her asking price, with a chance that they may consider, then why not try asking. So I can’t knock someone for trying to ask as well.
