So I recently helped a friend grade his Japanese Neo Shining Magikarp and noticed it had significantly less of the glitter holo pattern on it (same as corocoro mew). I had my own copy to compare and I definitely would have quantified it as an “Incomplete Holo”. It was a significant difference although not completely missing. Anyways I sent it to PSA to try and get it labeled as such but someone told me they recently got rid of labeling “incomplete holo” cards so no success on that front (the 10 grade was nice though).…
But I actually have never seen this error described by a shining magikarp. Anyone else seen anything like this?
Damn this is insane, this is my favourite card of all time. Never heard or seen this before with the Japanese neo card, if it had a label acknowledging the error and I had more money I would be frothing at the mouth to buy it from you
Given this, I don’t think PSA will add the label. But it’s pretty cool nonetheless! Personally, I prefer the glitter holo layer on Japanese copies, though.
