I’m creating a grading company. Well more of a personal project. I got some of those knockoff psa slabs for fun. And we’ll I was wondering if anyone has any ideas or experienc with getting them to stay together without a supersonic welder.
Obviously that would be optimal but a little pricey.
Maybe a clear glue? Any specific brands anyone has used?
Would a hand held super sonic welder work?
What about a UV light glue?
I tried a form of plastic glue but it didn’t dry clear sadly. But it does seem to be doing the job well. Besides looking bad. Maybe clear gorilla glue?
Thanks I know everyone here is kinda annoyed with my post but this is for personal projects just for fun. So re heating and what not is not a big deal. Thanks for the replies guys! I tried a loctite it didn’t dry clear. But I’m thinking clear gorilla glue. Maybe just a few small dots in centers and corners will work
The first sentence of your post states you are starting a company. That would indicate selling goods or service for profit. A passion project has nothing to do with a company. I’m surprised you didn’t expect a negative response.
That aside, Gorilla Glue is also going to ruin your card. You will notice a white powdery looking substance form on the areas near where the glue is applied. In a semi-air tight case, this substance will appear all over. This will be the same for any product you try that dries to form the bond. Just go ahead and save yourself the $15.
