Hello, first post here! I’ve been collecting on and off since base set came out in the US, but only started becoming a part of more pokemon communities in the last year as I’ve gotten back into collecting again. I was listening to a podcast yesterday where one of the guys was talking about how much niche card history he’d learned from these forums and I realized I’d joined a little while back and this might be the place to ask about a card I’m looking for. Any help is much appreciated!
So as I’ve gotten back into collecting I’ve been trying to focus on a few species sets, and one of those is Cramorant. I was looking up Cramorant cameo cards and saw this promo card on the list. I believe it only is a jumbo variant, and one of four illustration contest variants of the Koko movie promo card. I’ve never seen it for sale anywhere though, and I have never really been hunting a card that seemed this obscure so I’m not sure where to even look outside of usual channels like ebay, tcgplayer, etc. Does anyone know if this maybe came in a specific collector box, or if it was just given out at the theaters? Any suggestions on market places to keep an eye when looking for this card? Any other info about the card would be super helpful as well! And thank you for any help! This card has become my white whale, and I’d love to find it someday!
