I’m having a hard time judging this by myself and I’d especially appreciate pictures. I have two Charizard’s I’m considering sending in. One of them has a very small factory scratch and minor silvering. The other one has no scratches at all, but more silvering. I’m confident both would get 9’s at the very least, but what about a 10? How much silvering is too much? Is a factory scratch+minor silvering better or worse than slightly more silvering and no scratch?
For additional information: I’m talking about 1st ED German Base Set Charizards.
Scratches, if noticed, will cost you at least a grade.
Edge silvering could be a determinate if card is sitting between grades.

Hard to say for silvering, I’ve sent in pack fresh cards, near immaculate get PSA 8 or 9.
Where I’ve also had pack fresh cards with silvering come back 10s lol

So you’d say a little more silvering is a safer bet in terms of higher grades than a factory scratch+very minor silvering?

Interesting to know. Maybe has to do with sets? Do you still have those PSA 10’s? I’d be very interested to see how much silvering they have.
