Not really a monthly amount set, just buy cards that I get for bargains at this point. The market is pretty stable right now, so I just look for mispriced things that I want.

My wife’s boyfriend gives me $300 a month if I behave. I use $150 of that to take my wife out for dinner, $50 for gas (because I have to drive her boyfriend to work), and the other $100 goes towards Pokemon. But I’m only allowed to buy WotC cards, because my wife’s boyfriend says anything else is worthless trash.
