How do you know if a card set is done being printed? This goes for English and Japanese.
Apparently given the events of this year you really don’t. (roaring skies, primal clash, breakthrough, ancient origins re-stocks)
But Pokemon never really publicly reveals it. You just need connections with someone who has access to a distributor and they can find out from the distributor. Right now I can get everything back to Primal clash. They are not technically “in print” still, only breakpoint and newer is “in print” but primal clash to current is in supply strong enough to be able to easily get it for the next month or two at least I would suppose.
Re-releases being the obvious exception, English sets go out of print approximately two years after they’ve been formally released (does not include pre-release).
