Hey everyone just wanting some overall information about this card and the set it is from and it’s overall rarity thanks heaps
The set is literally on the slab, I am sure you would be able to find the card in question looking up the info on the slab.
I know I am asking for an opinion on some people who might know a bit more than a quick google search feel free to reply with any valid opinion👍🏻
I can’t tell if you are being serious or not… however I will judge my answer on you being serious.
Sky ridge is the last set produced by WOTC meaning it has appeal by it being the end of its era. Some people love the set, some people hate it because of the e reader borders. I think all or at least most can say that that specific card has incredible artwork. That card will also be more popular because it’s an evolution of Eevee.
Now for rarity. It’s probably the rarest WOTC set but there are many things to consider there. 1. It’s not first edition base and it never will be. 2. It’s a reverse Holo. If people collect this set, I see more people neglecting the reverses. @jahbless91 though is the most prominent figure probably in the hobby who collects WOTC reverse Holos so I’ll link him here. 3. If you have a couple hundred dollars, this specific card is not what you will probably spend your money on. Don’t get me wrong, people like gem mint or myself might be interested, but the majority of collectors wouldn’t even think to look for a card like that. And finally 4. It’s a set card. It will always be a set card so while it may be “rare”, that’s rare when we are talking about hundreds of thousands if not more. As many people have said, just because a card may be so called rare, does not make it valuable. I would say this is one of those cases.
If you’d like more information on the set, jahbless91 who I linked above made one of the favorite posts on efour being this: www.elitefourum.com/t/skyridge-the-story-behind-the-artwork/21227/1
That should give you plenty of information.
Now for the verdict. It’s a phenomenal set in my opinion for its artwork. The great art thread has numerous examples of this. However if we are speaking investment, i don’t know if I would personally go as far as to say it’s a good one. @smpratte says your best bet is trophy cards if that’s what you are aiming for. For a personal collection I say go for it. I’d love to own that card, but have other goals currently.
Hopefully that answers all questions for you.

Its a reverse foil, its rare, its skyridge, its an umbreon, its gem mint, its possible to look up a PSA population report, its also possible to see if there is price history, most importantly it’s unclear what you’re after when all the information is on the slab and what “opinion” could be given when asking about factual information about the slab. The only opinion you will get is of people thinking this thread is a waste of time
Thank you very much I was being serious just trying to discover the rarity of this card I also adore the art and umbreon has always been my favourite Pokémon but I am trying to make an investment out of the card so I was hoping for it to be more of a trophy card in that regard
Quite a nice response. I wouldn’t have taken this much time and shows that efour members care, regardless next time u post a new thread try and make it clear what information or opinions you are asking for specifically
Looking at Pokemon as an investment + collecting your favorite Pokemon doesn’t typically go hand in hand unless your favorite Pokemon is PSA 10 Charizards. Set cards like this one are nowhere near the rarity or “potential” of a trophy card.
If you’re looking for an Umbreon ‘investment’ (and I hate to use that term here because it’s just not really applicable, in my opinion), a STAFF Championship Promo or the ungodly rare Japanese Gold Star are as close to a trophy as you’d get, especially on the latter. Not that I think there are any available on the market…
Hi Guys,
Completely new (well kind of) to collecting Pokémon cards and dug out the old ones I had collected when I was around 8 years old.
Collected back then because I just really liked collecting cards but had no idea about set names and stuff like that.
Picked out the ones I was a fan of, I think they’re from a bunch of different sets and years, if you know what kind of sets they are I’d love to know and collect a few more of them again.
Some of them say 1995- a few different years but I definitely wasn’t collecting cards before I was born lol.
Thanks in advance
Let me know if I’ve linked the images correctly as well, tried the method on the instructions but think I’m doing it wrong

You have cards from different sets all mixed together. You can check this list on Bulbapedia and click through the sets to read about them.
